Passwords

RotaView will run without a password. However, if passwords are required then firstly a System Administrator password must be defined. This gives access to all the facilities within the system The System Administrator can then  set up other users with passwords and restrict  access available to them. All facilities within RotaView can be either made available, hidden or locked.  So, for example, a supervisor might have access to just a few Views with the ability to make some changes but have no access to any other part of the system such as the setting up of rotas or defining new shift codes.

If passwords are used, audit trails will log the user name against any changes made in the system
